Colour Therapy in London

What Is Colour Therapy?

Colour Therapy, also known as Chromotherapy, is a complementary wellbeing practice based on the use of different colours to support physical, emotional and energetic balance.

Light is made up of different colours, each with its own wavelength. Within Colour Therapy practice, different colours are associated with different qualities and areas of wellbeing.

At KeeCare, Colour Therapy involves selecting colours according to your individual concerns and applying them primarily to specific areas of the hands and feet using washable colour pens.

The selected colours may remain applied for approximately 4 to 6 hours, depending on your personalised Colour Therapy plan.

Colour Therapy can be explored on its own or alongside other complementary therapies as part of a wider holistic approach to wellbeing.

What Can Colour Therapy Support?

Stress and Emotional Wellbeing

Colour Therapy may provide a gentle complementary approach for those looking to support relaxation, emotional balance and everyday wellbeing.

Selected colours may be incorporated into a personalised approach focused on relaxation and creating a greater sense of calm.

Colour Therapy may be explored by people who feel tired, low in energy or simply want to focus more closely on their overall wellbeing.

Different colours are traditionally associated with different emotional qualities. A personalised Colour Therapy session may provide an opportunity to focus on emotional awareness and balance.

Confidence and Positivity

Colour Therapy may be explored as part of a broader wellbeing approach for people looking to encourage a more positive mindset and greater self awareness.

A personalised Colour Therapy approach may provide complementary support focused on relaxation, emotional wellbeing and balance during menopause and different stages of women's lives.

Colour Therapy can form part of a wider holistic wellbeing routine focused on relaxation, balance and taking time to care for yourself.

Auricular Acupuncture Techniques at KeeCare

ASP Needle Treatment

ASP needles are very small, semi permanent needles designed specifically for use on the ear. They are available in different materials, including gold, stainless steel and titanium.

At KeeCare, ASP needles may be used as part of specific Auricular Acupuncture protocols, including Battlefield Acupuncture.

Unlike standard acupuncture needles that are removed during the session, ASP needles can remain in selected ear points for a short period, allowing continued stimulation after your appointment.

Your practitioner will explain their use and provide appropriate aftercare guidance when ASP needles are recommended.

Ear Seeds Treatment

Ear seeds offer a gentle and non invasive method of stimulating specific auricular points without puncturing the skin.

Small seeds, beads or pellets are carefully positioned on selected points of the outer ear and secured using adhesive tape.

You may be shown how to gently stimulate these points between appointments, allowing you to participate in your wellbeing routine outside the clinic.

Ear seeds can be particularly useful for people who prefer a needle free approach to auricular therapy.

Acupuncture Needle Treatment

Fine, sterile acupuncture needles can be inserted into carefully selected points on the outer ear according to your individual treatment plan.

The needles used at KeeCare are sterile, single use and safely disposed of following each session.

You may experience a mild tingling, warmth or temporary sensation around the point when a needle is inserted. Your practitioner will explain the process before beginning your treatment.

Battlefield Acupuncture

Battlefield Acupuncture is a specific form of Auricular Acupuncture developed by Dr Richard Niemtzow in the United States.

The technique uses selected points on the ear and typically involves small ASP needles.

Ravinder is trained in this approach and may consider it where appropriate as part of an individualised Auricular Acupuncture treatment plan.
